....Reflection

Reflection,
an image of who I was, who I am and who I want to be.
The past has faded deep within,
a blurred image of yesterday,
It is gone, no more to be.
The present, a symbol of hope, love and peace
I've come a long way,
dug myself out from the muddy trenches of yesterday.
I am here, fully aware of my surroundings,
My heart is content,
I am no longer a prisoner, I am free.
Tomorrow, holds my dreams
My blessings are abundant, fear is no more.
Tomorrow is a reflection of today's actions.
A ripple of water...slowly fading into tomorrow.
Today is a blessing...
